Wondering if anyone has some insight into how up-to-date the tracking is; I assume it’s not quite real-time.

 

Definitely not real-time. It’s just basically a nice looking interface tied to the existing status’ of Porsche’s build sequence.

 

It's not a dumb app - it actively updates the itinerary and progress.

The vessel was assigned on the website within 24 hours after my SA alerted me to the ship assignment. The shipping and delivery dates moved up by about 2 weeks on the app as well.

I can clarify: the website is truly real time. Pretty cool!

 

The cool thing about Track Your Dream is that once the boat goes out of range of AIS monitoring the site will still update the ships position. Marine Traffic and other sites want to charge you up to $50 a month to get sat positions of ships.

It's been excellent tool for me. I haven't bugged my SA once and I'm sure he's happy about that too.
