If i compare pictures than i'm pretty sure SPASM is in front much more lower than only -10mm compared to standard PASM.

There is also a different front spoiler lip, that may be distorting what you see in photos.

Does anyone know if the ride height with SPASM on the 992 is the same as the ride height of SPASM on the 991? I am just confused since SPASM used to be a 20mm drop. Now it's 10mm.(because PASM is now standard) Does a non spasm stock 992 have the same ride height (angle of attack etc..) as the Stock non pasm 991? Just trying to figure out how much ground clearance SPASM on 992 has? Also do you guys think there is a benefit to having SPASM with a manual or no difference?

Hard to find ground clearance info / attack angle for 992, I have seen a few different numbers. I also owned a 718 GT4 ( ordering a 992 instead ) I found the GT4 to be a little to low for me. Stiffness wasn't too bad. If anyone has driven both 992 SPASM and 718 GT4 and could input opinion between the two suspensions that would be great.

Thanks

I found my 992 PASM suspension similar to my GT4 standard mode so would think 992 SPASM would be a firmer ride

Does anyone know if there is a difference in damper tuning / programming between the SPASM and PASM shocks? I know the springs are 10mm lower and stiffer but are there any changes in the actual dampers? Another words if you were to buy the OEM SPASM springs and install them on a standard PASM 992...would you end up with the same suspension setup?

SPASM also features thicker anti-sway bars.

Right and if like 991, specific alignment settings. All optimized for what Porsche thinks is optimal feel and handling for the model.

Yes I get that (along with higher spoiler height, lip spoiler, stiffer sways, etc) but any changes to the damper itself is the mystery I’m trying to solve.

Old post but relevant to me. When choosing SPASM, it usually also comes with the extended black front lip. Given that I have chosen the Sport Front Facia, which has a painted lower front lip, adding SPASM, will it also add a black lip below it in addition? Interestingly, the preview changes something in the front, looks like spacing between the bumper and the lip, but it's not really adding anything. I get it to have the black lip added to take scrapes and it's replaceable, but wonder how it works with the sports design front...anyone has both options and can confirm?

With SPASM

Without SPASM

If you look on the side profile view, you can see that the front lip has a slightly different shape with the Sport Design package between PASM and S-PASM that has a more aggressive angle . See GIF below:

Wow, thank you so much....meaning the lowest part is painted and not an additional black lip, and might scrape on the ground... maybe the front lift might be needed after all, if going with the sports facia....mhhh

I would not rely in those renderings. The configurator is often inaccurate visually.

It won’t scrape unless you’re either careless or you drop the car substantially…..or both.

My buddy’s base Carrera without SPASM…..and with the Sport Design package, has the same lip as my Carrera S with SPASM and with the Sport Design package.
