When I started doing research on Porsche 5 years ago. I depended on his reviews at the time.

Glad he's back. He tells it like it is and I think Porsche would be well served if they hired him for his observations. He's addressed every single issue that's kept me from pulling the trigger on the 992.

Yes, an honest reviewer.
Interesting is that he was part of early journalists to first see 992 (no big deal). The real interesting thing is his statements at the end of this video.
Hinting at what he would like to see in future 992 variants; a 992 with the engine from the 917 GT4, 992 Carrera T? I hope he knows something we don't. GT4 hp is between Carrera and Carrera S which could be a hopeful sign.

idk guys -- seems like what he's looking for is pretty different from what i'm looking for in my toy car. smaller motor, less power, comfort on bad roads? what? surprised he didn't criticize the trunk space.

Great to see that the Getawayer is back. And it is a very nice change to see some honesty in a review opposed to the usual regurgitation of marketing materials approach used by many youtubers.

I love him. He sold me on the 981. So did Chris Harris.

I would summarize his take as “more capable, less visceral” which really means it depends on what your priorities are.
What is he driving in the last shot? It sounded quite nice.

I wonder what he would say about the Taycan - all tire noise and no engine! I think Porsche is preparing the faithful for the electric revolution.

The guy isn't really doing a review for about 90% of the market for 992 buyers.

He sees the 992 though a similar lens as me. These are the very reasons why I didn't get an S (too much power, and too frenetic in its delivery), skipped SPASM (adds unnecessary harshness for a true 365 DD), and don't care about RWS. A C4 (because the Canadian Prairies) with PTV+, Sport Chrono, PSE and 18-ways is the perfect 911 for me. If I wanna go ***** out on a track I'll get another dedicated track car.
