Can anyone who has a 992 with the Alcantara visors tell me if the visors have that yellow warning sticker on them? I know the standard visors do, but was curious about the Alcantara ones.

If the visors are factory installed and being delivered to the US market they will have the stickers pursuant to regulatory requirements. You can buy non US (absurdly expensive for a non premium material) visors that do not have the stickers and install post purchase.

OR... you can remove the stickers yourself with a little heat and alcohol, and not worry about complicating things. Occam's Razor and all that.

Thanks for the info (and the thread link, JCWLS3. I saw the photo of the person who removed the stickers off the Alcantara visors. It definitely doesn't look fresh, so I'll likely change my build to the standard visors since I know those look extra clean when the stickers are removed. I once did it on a MINI Cooper S I had years ago and it came out perfect.

Our 992 build includes the Alcantara headliner with standard visors. An additional $500 for Alcantara visors just pissed me off. Alcantara was standard on our 9Y0 CTT for both headliner and visors. When we were considering an S, adding Alcantara was a single option that covered both. Go figure.
