After re-entering the car which had been sitting in the Texas sun for over an hour, I turned on the Max A/C, The air flow temperature from the vents felt just partially cool. I shifted between recirculating and fresh, which seemed to make no difference.

 

You might want sure that the vents are actually open. When I first took delivery of my car, they were almost all closed. Not realizing this, I was initially unimpressed with the effectiveness of the AC. Then, I opened up all of the vents. All good.
