Model designation - what's your preference

My 991 turbo cabriolet just says PORSCHE on the rear end and I like it that way. But I have had at least 2 people yell out at me and ask me if it's a Boxster, I guess because of the side air scoops. And one homeless guy yelled out to me, "Nice porch! Is it the front porch or the back porch?"

I was going to leave it as the stock "911 CarreraS" but then I remembered that I have this plate coming:
And I realized it would be a whole paragraph of text on the back:
P O R S C H E
911 Carrera S
992 C2S
...and all pretty close together since I have sport design package which moves the license plate up higher on the bumper. So I decided to just go with the "911" designation. I can always remove the 911 badge if it is still too much.

Deleted on both of mine but I don't feel strongly about it.
I think the really long names are just ridiculous.....Targa 4 GTS or Carerra 4 GTS
911 or GT3 are fine.

Curious what you're all doing and why? Leave the model designation as is, change to "911" or delete it altogether. My current build (not locked yet) still has it as "Carrera S" but was contemplating a switch to "911." Obviously this is one of many personal preferences, but I was just bored and thought this would be fun to obsess on for a bit :-)

I went with 911 in body color and the Porsche in black for this one, though honestly it's probably the best normal Carrera 911 badge that's been around in forever.

In my opinion the SD rear looks best debadged. With a badge there's just too much happening in that area and with your new plate maybe it might be best to have clear space between PORSCHE logo and the plate. That's the one reason why I went ahead with the standard rear: this is my first Porsche and I need that 911 badge!

Had "911" in black in all my builds, but after seeing "911 Carrera S" in black I decided to keep the whole thing, albeit in high gloss black.
I like the clean look, but there's a better way to do it -- debadge it after taking delivery and keep the model designation as a souvenir as opposed to having the factory take it away from you. My Macan was debadged from the factory and I regretted that as I could have easily done the DELETE mod myself so I'm not making the same mistake twice.
