Do most just use the touch screen? Or has anyone found it better to use the rotary dial on the right to navigate the PCM?

Does it cut out having to press the screen completely? Because that’d be nice

The rotary dial is too much work. I guess that it's nice to have the option, but I just use the touch screen ...and voice control.

But if someone wanted to purely use the rotary dial 100% of the time. That can be done?

I just prefer reaching over to use the PCM.

I like to keep my hands when on the wheel for, well, steering the wheel.

Sure, it's somewhat masochistic and more distracting, but yes.
Fun tip: the protective film over the touch screen used for shipping the car with is more fingerprint resistant than the actual screen underneath. That's why my dealer left it on and suggested that I leave the film on it.
So, if you're concerned about fingerprints, there you go.

Though I feel I can drive pretty well with one hand lol I don’t believe I’ll be constantly fiddling with the PCM. It’s just good to know that I can use the dial though.

Thanks for the tip as well.

I use the iDrive **** on my BMW all the time to avoid fingerprints and whilst driving too... commonsense not withstanding, I also use lane keep assist on the freeway at all times which further keeps me safe.. Two hands on the wheel is more a critical thing when maneuvering thru corners, etc.. not a time I'd be pushing a new radio station, or setting a new destination in my nav.

Pretend you are Angela Merkel doing a bad impersonation of Arnold Schwarzenegger and it works perfectly.
