Defective airbag controller.

Defective airbag controller.
I have been unable to drive my new Carrera 2S due to a defective airbag control unit. Maintenance techs discovered the issue during delivery inspection last week, a new part was ordered from Germany which took 1 week. I figured this was no big deal as I’d planned on sending my car out on a flatbed to get it PPF wrapped, windows tinted, and radar detector hard wired in, which was also going to take a week. Car was returned a week later and the new airbag controller was installed, only to discover the new part was also defective. It’s now going to be another week to order a 2nd replacement controller.
I’ve already reached out to Porsche customer care, and I’m negotiating with them for some form of compensation.
My question is how many other owners of new 992’s have also experienced problems with defective airbag controllers, or any other part that makes their new vehicle unusable?

No input on the airbag issue, but will be curious what they do to take care of you. I had a '99 Boxster with an engine failure and PCNA covered my monthly payment while the engine was being ordered/shipped/installed. It was a bummer, but I thought it was a reasonable response from Porsche.

Mark, thanks for the input. I’ll consider that as a suggestion when this finally gets resolved.
