Meh, I am skeptical of this list as presented...

Re #1 Meh, good of a guess as any
Re #2 I highly doubt that the 991.2 engine will be over carried over as-is given the emissions requirements.
Re #3 Does that mean the car will be wider than a non-GT3 992?
Re #4 It's hard to imagine the 992 GT3RS getting the same diameter wheels as the regular Carrera S models.
Re #5 The S models wheels have gotten so large that I just don't buy these numbers. Only a 10mm difference?
Re #6 Like the 992 or.. beyond the current 992 models
Re #7 Meh, not without some more significant front aero changes
Re #8 Meh, Kind of presumed that with the other aero with the 992
Re #9 How are you going to fit those larger discs in those 20/21 wheels?
Re #10 Sure

These type of posts are always interesting. A lot of specifics here, more than half are not even in the auto rag speculation circular reporting matrix. Seems credible and realistic to me. Hard to believe that someone that has been a RL member for 5 years would just make up this ****. Might be true. Maybe not. Might just be his own personal speculation and he doesn't know how to communicate very well. LOL.

"2. GT3 Engine will be the present GT3RS.2 Engine rated at 520 HP."

Will it have the ITBs from the Speedster? This group can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure the 991.2 GT3 and GT3RS share the same engine. The extra power is from the added cooling and exhaust which allows for some CPU tuning. I would find it surprising if that is the same engine dropped in the 992.1 given how similar it would be to the 991.2.

It'll be a phenomenal car nonetheless but sounds like more of a 991.3 engine wise, granted the 991.2 set a high bar.

If the above is all true, will be interesting to see what engine goes in the 992 GT3RS. Time will tell, but I feel the 992.2 GT3/RS will be the model to have for this generation.

There is no point in worrying about the performance aspects of the car because its guaranteed to be better than the 991.2 which was already at a deep level of diminishing returns.

What matters to me is whether or not Porsche will be able to build a focused drivers car and track oriented machine out of what is mainly now a techno overload, why?, why?, why?, luxury car interior.

The 992 is loaded with piano black trim, a haptic console, touchscreen based everything and a cluster that's main purpose is to display driver aide and navigation information and I seriously doubt any of that will be getting a major makeover for GT car duty.

Most of the items are a given based on what we know about the 992 Carreras and have seen in the GT3 spy photos. But a carryover engine? Porsche has never done that in the history of the GT3. Every generation, including the mid-cycle face-lifts, has received a new engine.

Also, missing from the list is any mention of weight savings. When AP spoke at RRV in 2015, he stated future GT cars would focus on weight savings rather than increasing horsepower. After seeing some Mg and CF on the 991 R and RS...and weight gains on the new base car...the 992 generation should see more evidence of this, and therefore be one of the headlines.

But if the OP does have the inside scoop...any word on the GT3 Touring?
