My lucky story... Decided to sell my 2018 Cayman (chalk, sports package) and attempt to get a 2022 Targa 4S. About 7 dealers in my area (Wash, DC) told me it'd be at least 6-8 months to even get an allocation, then called a new dealer, Porsche Chantilly (who was great!), and they had one last 4S allocation. I was skeptical, but placed my order in August and it arrived two days ago (~4 months total time between online configure and dealer order to delivery). Couldn't be happier -- only downside now is the weather is shifting into the normal cold/dreary Wash DC winter time so I have limited opportunity to drive it with top down... still, very happy and look forward to April when weather warms and brightens up. Some pics of my new baby...

That said, and with regards to your comment about the rims have “no real pop”…in all honesty, I don’t think the 911, itself, has a whole lot of “pop”. It has an understated look….which is 100% OK with me…so the classic look of the rims fits into the over all look of the 992. IMO.
