I have had my C2S since June and prior to that a 997 C4S Cab. So I have not driven the 992 in winter. The 997 was a DD but the 992 has not been yet (I have yet to reveal the purchase at my workplace due to all the political baggage that will come with it) so right now it is just for the weekends. That said I've been told by other RLers, my SA, and have generally heard that the C2S with the rear engine will perform quite capably here in the winter with a proper set of winter tires. My only decision at this point is whether to get a set in the next few weeks or to wait until a year from now when I might be more likely to daily drive it. I will likely get them this year so that I can drive it when I want without worry. Save for the deeper snow days of course. Not sure I would drive it that much on snow even with the winters, though I know I could. But while the tires will certainly make it more than capable, the biggest factor is that they also give you much improved driving in lower temps regardless of whether there is snow on the surface. Summers are really not meant for 20-40 degree weather.

 

Did you have ceramic treatment done in Rockville area? Any plans for PPF?

Congrats on the impending delivery. My Targa 4 completed delivery the exact same day. It's not even on a boat yet. I am thrilled for you, but don't understand what's happing with my ride.

Dammmmmn. I think i may be changing my build to Night Blue. Ha.. This looks so good. I would probably do black version of those wheels, but that wheel design is amazing.

 

I bet that night blue with chalk seats would be a really nice looking.
