All seasons are always a terrible choice.

I can confirm that the latest 19/20 OEM winter set will indeed fit with RAS (have one of them myself, and use it here in the vicinity of Arctic Circle). If you read the different digital manual versions carefully enough, you'll notice that the tire profiles in the set have slightly changed since the manual started okaying the 19/20 sizing with vehicles with RAS. I think I have previously posted the details in another thread on the forum and at first thought this was the one (thus the delay)...
What pressure are you running in your 19/20 winters. Mine are set to arrive in a few weeks (will be mounting them in Nov/Dec). I think I read 32/34 psi? for comfort?

I find setting and maintaining winter tire pressures a bit tricky. My objective will be to try and have the “driving” pressures similar to what I see in summer months with the 20/21 comfort setting. Setting summer tires at the recommended 29/32 cold in a garage where temperature is 21-22 Celsius, on the road tire pressures (depending on outside temperature) run in the range of 31-33 up front and 34-37 at the rear. Going from a 21-22 degree garage in winter and setting 19/20 winter tires at same 29/32 cold pressure, once outside in 0 to -30 Celsius temperatures, tire pressures would drop into the range of 24-27 at the front and 27 to 29 or 30 at the rear...a bit on the low side. Once we start seeing daytime outside temperatures in the single digits or lower, I’ll start with cold pressures at 33/35 and adjust up and down (daily if needed) to keep on-the-road pressures in the 30-32 range up front and 32 to 34 or so out back.

I have to say that typically with any sporty car that I've owned (all of them rear-wheel drives) in the autumn/winter time, independent on whether there's snow and/or ice on the roads or not, I've kept the tires at the manufacturer recommend pressures. With the 992, I do not use the comfort pressures but the standard pressures. Same in the summer time. That has worked really well for me. I guess it gives a bit more leeway, in case the temperature drops really low, just as gcurnew was describing.

On a side note, last summer when we went for a road trip with the family driving the German Autobahns, I set the pressures at the full load. Obviously, it was really harsh when driving the car alone but with two adults plus one kid and all the luggage, it was a pretty perfect setup, especially when driving over 300 km/h more often than not...

I have checked several places and found 20/21 all seasons do not exist. I may go with 19/20 winter set up from getporscheparts.com. I have a feeling its going to be a messy winter here in NJ.

Michelin PA5's from TireRack. They don't show up when you select the car and look for winter tires, so you have to select and order the tires on your own on their website.
245/35R20 fronts and 295/30R21 rears, both NA0 Porsche rated. Your dealer will try to tell you that this size tire won't fit on the rear wheel, but that's BS. They just want you to buy a $6K wheel & tire package from them.

Nice. I ordered this same set of tires...will mount on some Vossen HF3s. Saved about 3k over a comparable dealer package and should look fantastic.

I did. Those are now my winter wheels/tires and I have a set of O.Z. Leggera HLT wheels as my summer wheels with Michelin PS4's mounted on them (315 rears). I like having separate sets for the winter and summer so I can do the changeover myself in the garage and not have to take the car in to have tires mounted & balanced twice a year.

If someone finds an alternative (I pray for Nokian) that would fit 19/20 setup let me know. I much prefer this sizing for winter.

I have a set of Hakka 8's for my BMW 750 and love them. I don't know if I would want to put them on a sports car though. There are a lot of nice subzero temperature days in the winter where the roads are clear and dry and it's a lot more fun to drive with non-studded tires on days like that. And I don't really drive either of my Porsches when the roads are super icy or there's more than a couple of inches of snow anyway.

I have Hakkas on 3 other cars and LOVE them. The NON studded ones. I believe they make a size for the front but nothing close for the back.

I have a contact at Nokian in Finland and alas he told me they have nothing for the 992 which is why I'll be looking for a set for my future order.

Definitely no all seasons for where I live. They're neither summer nor winter tires. They're too hard and crack in the cold and too soft in summer and wear out. I've got studded Nokian on 19" rims on the Macan, Hakka 8s studded on the RS5 and similar on my V8 Touareg. Before you ask, Olga my kid steer has chains on all 4s.
