This information should be in your owner’s manual...

This only holds true if the tires are the same size as the summers. The pressure has to support the weight of the car, and therefore if the tire has a smaller width, by definition the contact patch is smaller - so, using the same pressures on smaller tires with the same weight of car would mean your tires are going to look more "deflated" in order to support the vehicle.

Pressure(psi) * surface area touching the ground (in^2) = supported weight (lbs)

You would think so but it doesn’t appear to be.

manual refers to the rating plate in the car which shows only summer tyre pressures for loaded and unloaded cars. It also refers to the TPM system where you have to enter the wheel and tyre sizes before selecting normal or comfort options.

After a quick check on the winter tire sizes, it's only a 295 (winter) vs. 305 (summer). This is only a ~3% difference in contact patch on the rears, which amounts to a whopping ~1psi difference for the same load.

So, that being said - you can basically run the same pressures on 295s as on the 305 summers. Biggest difference will be at what temperature you fill them

Since the manual mentions no pressures, I spent some time with the PCM in my car last evening.

Having set the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for the 19/20" Carrera Silver Winter Wheel/Tire set, the system indicates pressures of 38 psi rear and 33 psi front.

With everything set to these pressures the car rides smoothly and predictably. A couple of psi higher and you get the distinct impression that you can feel the individual tyre tread blocks as the wheels roll.

I have 4 Nokian Hakapepeliita R3 21" from my Cayenne. I'm taking two of them to put on the rear of the 992 and will sell the other two. It should be easier to find a pair of 20's for the front.

Download the Porsche Good to Know app, install the 992 manual, then search for “tire pressure tables”. There is an extensive list of recommended tire pressures based on type, size, load factor and options.

You would think that wouldn’t you except the only pressure mentioned is 51psi for the collapsible spare which I don’t have. This version of the manual refers you to the rating plate (which doesn’t discuss winter wheels) and the pcm (which does know).

I have found a set of 992 spec aftermarket winter wheels here in Canada. You can find at some retailer on web a kit mounted with Michelin PA5 and TPMS under 3000$ CAN + tx and shiping included What do you think about that?

The hard part is the tires. They're nigh impossible to source this season.
Looking more closely at these wheels, I am skeptical of the fitment as the 992 runs staggered diameters as well as widths.
