i sat in a 992 yest (in advance of my upcoming delivery) and as predicted, found the seating position very low. it had the 14way adaptive sport seats. i wonder if my 18way seats will allow any greater height? does anyone know from experience? thank you

This model I seat lower than the prior, which I like. I have the 18 w, the main difference from the 14 are the side bolsters, I don't think height adjustment is a major factor.

I have the 18 way seats in mine. They're fab, but yes, you're going to sit low in a 992.

On my test drive yesterday C4S 14 way), the dealer pointed out that you sit lower in the car now resulting in more head room but the seats can be raised up to the sitting height of your house. The lower seat cushion was designed to allow taller people to fit comfortably. I haven't sat in 18 way seats in the new car but I was told the 14 way seats have a more relaxed side bolster to fit a more generous person. I found them perfect. The 18 ways hold you in place better when cornering aggressively but you have to climb over that bolster to get in and out of the car. That is something I considered when ordering 14 way on my last car.
