It never gets old looking at Aventurine Green on a Porsche. One of the classic colors.

Representing the Aventurine 911 crowd at Tuner Evo in Orlando. This will be interesting.

Burning Brakes
Sadly I am going to unsubscribe from this thread. Aventurine has just been taken off the Configurator and I don't see the need to pay £10,000 for what used to cost £800, just a month ago!

Thanks for the pics, Gorgeous 992. Your pics prompted me to order my Carrera Coupe in Aventurine Green with Truffle Brown interior and aurum designer carrera wheels. Also went with matching Porsche side decal in aurum. I should have mine in a couple months, but saved yours pics as it always puts a smile on my face when I see them.

Completely agree. I have AG and while in some light (eg dusk) it can be indistinguishable from Agate but in other light like bright daylight the green pops. No way it would be mistaken for Agate. It’s a shame they made it a PTS

Agree on they are different colors. But similar in the fact they have the same hue in certain lighting. In low lighting one could confuse the colors unless they are side by side. Someone in my office building has Aventurine, on a cloudy overcast day it looks like Agate to me. As much I prefer Aventurine over Agate, I don't think I'd pay the PTS Premium for it. Agate is close enough for me to save the $13k premium, But this is just my personal opinon, I'm sure Porsche won't have any problem selling Aventurine as a PTS. I do feel very fortunate to have ordered it before it went to PTS.

I think it would be hard for me to pay $13k for any PTS color.

To Agate Grey: I know Aventurine Green. Aventurine Green is a friend of mine.
You, sir, are no Aventurine Green.

Agate has brown undertones to my eye, not green. AG is simply too grey to me in all but direct sunlight, but it was the best color available to us without PTS (which I couldn’t get at the time we ordered). I was between Oak, Brewster and maybe Irish there.
I like it well enough but still wish it were “greener”.
