I see that you also did as I did: sports bumper (rear…I did front and back) and de-badge the rear. Gives it a cleaner look, IMO. By the way, nice rims.
I'm missing something. Can you please enlighten me in regards to the "rear sports bumper." It looks badass and I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing. Can't see how that's an option from Porsche on the GTS. Just trying to learn. Thanks!

Sorry, I can’t help. My car is a 992S, and was one of the options in the configurator. No idea what options are offered on the GTS?

Definitely not that rear end. Wish it was cause that's sharp as a tack. Glad I didn't miss it when configuring my car or I'd be banging my head on the wall right now. Thanks bud.

The GTS comes with the sports front and rear already.

I believe (?) the difference between the rear sports bumper found on my car (option on the S) are that part(s) of the bumper (e.g., the shark fin) is color matched to the car’s paint (included with the option), and stands out better. On the GTS, the rear sports bumper is monolithic black polyurethane, and not color matched.

Probably, did not look into that detail. But that can be "fixed" easily. I am still wondering why they did these "wings upside" down on the sport bumper though. The shape of the bumper and exhaust surround lends itself for the other orientation like the techart wings on standard bumper.

Of course the looks, any look, can be “fixed”. For a price. My post was meant to differentiate the “standard” sport bumper on the GTS, with the optional sport bumper on the S. Some people never noticed (or care) about that difference…but there is a difference.

Dan, very late to this party, as a new Rennlist member. Do you mind sharing how you spec’d the Sport Tex seat centers for your car? On the configurator the only options I can find are black, with or without stitching.

Beautiful car!

Thanks. Jon

That's houndstooth not Racetex.. But yes, it sure is nice looking. It can be had as part of the Exclusive Manufaktur Interior.

I’m confused now. Dan specifically mentions Sports Tex in posts #68 and 69 (which I found after posting the above while reading deeper into the thread):

Sure, glad to gives my thoughts to you. I moved from 14-way heated and ventilated seats to these 18-way Sport Tex seats. I’ll spend three hours in them on Thursday when I drive back from Tyson’s to the beach.

Hi Dan, what is your interior spec for the 992? Have I missed something in the configurator, because I didn't stumble upon your spec?
It should all be there. Sport Tex with deviated stitching on 18-way seats, leather backs on the 18-ways, carbon fiber trim, carbon fiber steering wheel, carbon fiber sill plates, And a few other things.

Yet more…

@Smirnoff67 I must be failing Configurator 2.0 🤓

There’s nothing similar under Exclusive M interior. The only remotely similar look is under the Heritage Classic package but seat centers are “pepita”, whatever that is.

Maybe I need more coffee…

You and me both. I have a wicked headache. Maybe its part of the Heritage Package. I can't remember...sorry! Its in there somewhere.

Edit: so on the configurator the Heritage Package isn't offered on the GTS. So I switched to a Carrera 4S and it is offered. The Black Leather with Pepita Seat Centers is the choice directly to the left of the Black Leather & Cognac.
(There's 4 choices underneath the Heritage Design Leather Interior. Choose the 3rd one from the left) don't know how to make it clearer than that. Good luck.
