Standard audio vs others

I had Bose in my 718, and also in wife’s current Macan. I kept standard audio on my 992 and I am surprised at sound quality. It is pretty good. Can’t compare with upgrades in a 992 though. Certainly loud enough and pretty clear. Bass not bad. Found Bluetooth audio too quiet but I always use CarPlay which is plenty loud.

Burmester is a solid upgrade....like bringing a symphony in your car....Bose is standard stuff these days.....Burmester worth every penny albeit jacked up for profit taking on options by Porsche...

I had he chance to compare standard and bose in 992. Initially I was planning to just stick with standard, but after comparing them I decided to tick the bose option. The standard system really sounded pretty poor, the bose is ok (but not great), comparible to the harman kardon of a BMW M3 I would say.

Higher on my list for (sound) experience with the new turbo engines than a sports exhaust.
