Yes, but that's not the purpose. Note the clear taillights as well.

It's a test car for the base spec.

Paint and Aerokit divert attention so that ill-informed news sites think its a GTS or something.

The best part is it gets rid of the Tron rear stop lights, similar to the turbo spy shots that have been posted on RL.

I wish they made the wing 2 inches lower so it was like the turbo wing. Its a bit much for the carrera IMO

What about the exhaust tips? Haven't seen those yet.

These are the tips for the base Carrera and Carrera 4 (standard exhaust)

It looks nice. I commend Porsche for improving on a timeless design for this generation. Even if it's the base model with the universally basic trapezoid exhaust tips, it looks special.
