Glass sunroof issue on 992
Hi,
From Italy here.
I've received my new 992 with glass sunroof.
I don't know if this is an old issue, but when I open the roof there's an helicopter sound in the cabin.
This sound is coming yet at low speed...
So is this normal?
Have I to go very very very slow for not listen that wowowowowo?
It's not a super bad issue because I have chosen the sunroof for more light into cabin, but I think it's not designed very well...
I think probably it would be better if the little deflector was bigger
😦

Do you mean that?
I don't think this is a real deal in design/experience😂
I don't understand "cracked" ... Sorry for my English

The only way to prevent this would be if a deflector raised up above the front of the glass as its opening to deflect air from trying to enter the cabin. The air is being forced into the cabin and without the windows open, the cabin has higher air pressure and cannot equalize that pressure fast enough - as such the wind "buffets" (helicopter) against the window.
If either side window is open, the air pressure can be equalized much easier.
It's like in some cars where if you only open 1 side window you get the same 'helicopter' noise.

"window 'cracked' open" = "window a little open" - english is fun!

Looks great. Can you share your build? I like the combination with the black wheels.

This solves a lot of wind buffeting problems. Not sure if it fits the 992...
