Thanks for the input guys. I suspected it was a hard-sell going on.... there's an new, unlisted '19 GT3T manual for sale in West Palm Beach, I expressed some interest, and was told it was "last of the breed (end of NA GT3s)".... And if I was interested in a manual S in the future...."manual only for base Carrera, not for S...." etc. Implying things that are not likely true.

Anyone hearing any updates on when Base and C4 goes to production and shows up on the configurator?

I received a text that a dealer here has allocations yesterday..I called, and they could not build it online yet but asked for a deposit to secure a November delivery date. Not sure if they were lying or not. Ill wait a few days and see if its legit. Seems odd to me though. Any ideas?

Give them a credit card deposit since you will be covered in case they back out, and if they do you can bash them online with bad reviews.

They want me to agree to pay FULL MSRP..For a Base model?

I thought people were getting discounts on S models already.

Discounts are not common in all markets so only you can decide if you want that deal. Did you shop the dealers within a couple hundred miles? If so and none are offering a discount then you would have to buy from further away or out of state where others are getting discounts.

Where abouts are located that they mentioned November? Was this the Sales Assoc texting?

Yes they were texting. Which is why I am not sure I believe them.

Thanks Michael. Yes seems too early. Maybe for an order but November delivery seems unthinkable considering S and 4S likely won't land in NA until August.
