Default Interested but no urge to get one

Of course I'm always interested in what the new models bring, and sometimes the changes are so significant that I know I'll need to get one. Having explored the significant changes the 992 makes vs. the 991.2, I don't feel the need to get the latest and greatest this time around. That may change when I see what other improvements come with the later 992 variants (GTS, TTS, etc.), but, for now, it's a relief to feel good about sitting tight. Of course, it sure would be nice to have an actual useful cupholder....

The only thing that I find interesting is Aventurine Green.
The cupholder almost couldn’t be worse.

Buy a 991.2 and get one or two of these and you will be a happy camper: https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/

Already have 'em (both the 991.2 TTS and the Ultimate Cup Holder).

First year/two is always the soft release for the 911.. Wait for the 3rd year or the .2

I don’t disagree with any of these comments. I’ve owned .1 911 versions and .2 911 versions and the .2 versions are clearly more dialed in. That said, at this point in my life I’m not going to wait around for a .2 version. I’ll likely wait to see what the tt pricing and availability will look like, but right now my current thinking is I’ll buy a 992 C4S.

I agree. I haven't found any changes that would entice me to make the move to a 992 at this time. Although, I've found several changes that I'm not particularly fond of: digital dash, third tail light, increased size and weight, etc. None of these are deal breakers but I'm happy with my current 991.2 GTS and will wait a couple of years to see what wonders Porsche comes up with in their inevitable and numerous variants.

I'm not as negative about the 992 as many on this forum. I even like some of the exterior changes, notably the notched hood and new flares.

That being said, the lust I felt for the 991 has been almost completely extinguished.

I love the exterior of the 992 but not sure about interior as I haven't seen one in person yet. I'm sure it will be great with the right options. I'll probably go for a GR 992C2 MT. Not available to order for just aver a year I believe.

OP - I'm w/ ya. While I love the latest and greatest in most things, I think the 991.2 in various forms including the C2S is pretty awesome. I don't see enough in the 992 to make me want to get one right way. Of course once the mags get their hands on one and start gushing about how it outperforms the .2 GT3 I'll surely sing a different tune.
