I have full leather with deviated stitching in both of my Porsches. I love the look and feel. It dents easily thought and scratches. I've also had some warping with a bit of water on the window sill.

It also smells great.

I'd get it again for a daily driver.

The standard Porsche leather is not to my taste. It is too hard and glossy. This, I skipped full leather on my GT3. Natural leather (which I believe is what club leather is in the 992) is very nice. Too bad it was not an option on GT cars (short of $30k in CXX).

I believe Natural Leather was an option on the GT3 during the 997 days

Check out the leather on this build sheet, around $14k of leather extras. I'm just glad I'm not the guy who bought this car first. It's gorgeous and makes the car special, but you better buy it for yourself, because the next guy's not going to ascribe much value to it, if any.

As for durability, mine has held up just fine with absolutely zero issues. It's gorgeous, expensive but gorgeous.

At 1600kg its not a sports car, therefore might as well go "full" GT.

I would go full leather.

I just wish Porsche used better leather.

It was, but almost none ordered it.

I have full leather on my 2006 997 C4 and it looks great. I wouldn't buy a new 911 without full leather.

"Is it worth it?"

For a leased C2 like mine, it was not. After I added all the other "must haves", I would have paid for the full cost of the leather over the term of the lease rather than a portion of it. If you are buying your car, having it exactly how you want it is always worth it.

I was thinking about the red leather option, but photos from older models show a lot of wear on the red interiors. If I ordered a 992 today, I would probably go with the sport tex and four-way seats. Sport tex for comfort, 4-ways for 80 pounds of weight savings.

The leather is the standard smooth finish black with black stitching, more subtle than deviated colors but still kind of distinctive.

It shows no signs of wear after 6.5 years, and is very easy to keep clean. The key is NOT to abuse it with what gets placed on it and NOT to rub it raw with someone's favorite parts store miracle cleaner and conditioner.
I doubt it has full leather. Are the door pockets leather?

Quality isn't that great? What do you mean?

The point of my post was in response to the OP question about leather being worth it and wearing well. The car has everything that came with what is on the invoice as "full leather". There were other pieces available as options. Non of those were purchased.

There are different style leathers. The standard leather is sanded smooth and does not have the same softness and depth of feel of the pricier "natural" grained leathers that Porsche offers. I don't think of it as "quality" issue as the both seem to be of high quality.

Thanks to everyone for the posts! I'm definitely going to add the interior leather option (and possibly deviated stitching if they offer it; currently doesn't show up in the configurator).
