They don’t say what the actual weight is and only say 22lb lighter…lighter than what? I assume not vs the monoblock forged ED wheels that are already pretty light.

@VTForgedWheels what is the actual weights on your set of 20x9.5 / 21x12 VTForged SL-A.3 SuperLite referenced above? Specifically, i'm interested in a set of these for a 992 GT3 in stock sizing and offsets, and interested on what these weigh vs. stock wheels.

Sub $4k for this set!
😱. I second f4bones's weight question.

Hey Rennlisters I need your help and maybe help on offsets and lowering (cross posted in the Lowering 992 thread as well).

I've received these lightweight forged wheels (sponsored deal) and the sizing is 20x9 ET +40mm fronts and 21x12 ET +60 rears (wearing stock rubber size) and find they not only stretch the tires but stick out. Having read this wheel thread is it because I'm not lowered that they seem to stick out a bit? I've seen numerous posts where folks are running super aggressive fitments that should stick out more than mine but yet not as protruding as mine and its it due to lowering?

If I lower my 992 then will it "tuck" the wheels inward? As a side note I'm on the fence about the white wheels...because its a sponsored deal I'm able to change up the color so went white first to see how I like it then will decide...

Your rear offset should be only about 13mm from stock, which is not that aggressive. Personally I think 8-10mm on the rear is ideal for a SPASM car, which you aren’t far from. You car already looks pretty low and the ride height looks good me. I’d live with it for a few weeks, you may come to really like the fit, or you may decide that ~3-4mm of poke drives you crazy.

i personally went with 20x9 with 48 offset and 21x11.5 with 60 offset and find the fitment pretty close to flush.

lowering your car and adding camber would make it look less pokey

I wonder if adjusting the camber might be an option vs. buying a lowering kit....?

No, that won’t solve your issue.

The car looks good! A drop will definitely improve the stance.

Saw them on an add for center caps, but don’t know who makes them…

We have a similar wheel in 5 lug as well as center lock. They also except the Porsche center cap.

They look like these:

But not sure if they make a centrelock version....
