Default 992 GT3 pics...really?...if so, let me get the popcorn

Real or fake news? Thumbs up to naturally aspirated. The design on the other hand...figuring there is some camouflage, but gives an idea of incorporation of the new 992 design, ..

I really like the muscular look of the fenders; especially the front fender. You see more shape and bulge similar to RS width fenders compared to normal GT3 on current gen cars.

I've seen those wheels floating around on other mules and have to say I like them. They remind me of the old SSR GT3 wheels. Funny.

The door handle assembly looks odd to me but whatever, right?

The one thing about 992 that I really do not like is the move on the rear light assembly. It seems this is the direction Porsche is moving to on all of their current model lineup with the light bar across the entire rear. Personally I do not care for it. Maybe it will grow on me.

The wing - I would personally hope this is very early testing mule design to record data on various wing positions as it looks to be fairly adjustable. I bet they set this up to log various positions and note affect on handling to fine tune the final design.

Overall I like it - just not a fan of the rear light setup Porsche is moving to. Furthermore I really do not like the interior shots floating around on the 992 mules.

Fun to see the evolution of the car nonetheless.

- Chris.

It's camouflaged, how is that even in question. You can clearly see where panels were bolted on.

I'm excited for the 992 gt3. Will be my next new car purchase. I'm looking forward to more pics and details coming out over the next 18+ months.

I like it. Gives off some cylon / kylo ren vibes. Maybe even a little mitsubishi eclipse from 1995.

If you want one, I hope you have put your name on some dealership's list; especially if you want it at MSRP. Call up Andrew Proaps at Porsche Marin; he worked with me on my GT3, got me the car at MSRP (after putting my name on the list), and was an overall awesome person to work with. He deserves all the good business he can get.

Thanks. Been on a list at Hoffman Porsche in CT for a few months (at msrp). They're a great dealership to work with as well.

This. IMO, it's bad practice to judge a car based on initial spy photos.
