Cars will get faster. Always has to be incremental performance for new generations. That's what sells cars. Doubt 992 will be lighter.

This entire website is unofficial and Porsche is officially agnostic to its existence.

Furthermore, how would they connect your identity to your online persona?
I suspect they reached out to/through a moderator, but indeed the previous thread I started is nowhere to be found. I won't post his name, but he said he works for PCNA and they had the thread removed. I also asked how he got my info, he said via my online profile and the info they have from the focus group and my customer record. Not too hard.

No doubt they have people trolling the forums. Now only if they would listen to the good advice we have and actually use it to their benefit.

I find that outrageous and pretty spineless from Internet Brands.

I don't even remember anything being shared that wasn't available on any of these websites already.

Not like there was some secret information divulged.

I'm kind of surprised, that you’re surprised. IB has received numerous legal instruments from all over the world. It’s been going on for years. Companies going after posters, subpoenas, legal action etc. The most bizarre example - There is an airline who’s name cannot be mentioned on one of the IB sites. Just to be clear, I’m not talking about Rennlist in this case, but another one of the forums that they own.

It's not impossible, the 991 Carrera models got lighter than 997.2 despite being larger. I don't think it'll get much heavier (ignoring potential hybrids) at least.

Are you able to give us any hints? W/O violating your NDA?
Maybe address some of the concerns some of us have after seeing the various spy photos?

Should we be worried about the look of the 3rd brake light?
Will we be satisfied with the PDK shifter?

Take a look at the thread above or go to jalopnik, that’s the car I saw, now that it’s out of the bag.

Did you see the interior?
I didn't see interior photos on Jalopnik.

Look at the spy shot thread. The info here is useless. Start a thread to talk about the car but don't talk about the details. It's all in the spy shots, and not like these guys even saw a 100% finished car. They're still tweaking.

There was some interesting info but a bogeyman from PCNA or Internet Brands reached out to the poster(s) and reminded them about the NDA they signed

The 992 shown at this focus group was the production version and not another concept variant.
To repeat, the 3rd brake light is vertical and stands out like a sore thumb in the middle of the engine cover. It was ugly to me. Also, the gear shift is the same as the spy shot where it is an electric travel razor. More important to me was some of the materials were cheaper than normally seen plastics in the 991.

We'll see. The Panamera interior doesn't appear cheap to me so I don't see why they would cheap out on the next 911 that adopts a similar interior design.
