GT3 with wing
R without wing

My response was specifically directed to CAlexio, who is very good friends with a 918 VIP who now has 2 918s. 918 VIPs are high value customer relationships who enjoy significant exposure to and - sometimes - information from key senior engineers, the most senior of which is FSW.
I am not a 918 VIP by any means, but I do see FSW every so often, and usually make an effort to chat with him - usually about future product to the extent he can be drawn.
I also have a fairly strong understanding of the GTE rulebook, in particular the engine and homologation rules.
For those reasons and more, I believe the 992 will be naturally aspirated.
Alternatively you could base your analysis on a the output of a glorified remote blogger (ie, they write from their couch, not an office) who writes for the websites - but NEVER the print versions - of Road & Track, Motor1, Autocar, etc. on a contract basis for $25 an article.

So... time to open a can of worms with the 991.2 model cycle winding down!
It's pretty well telegraphed that the 991.2 model cycle will conclude with the following cars:
991.2 GT3 - On sale, deliveries in progress
991.2 GT2 RS - On sale, deliveries in progress
991.2 GT3 RS - On sale, deliveries forthcoming
991.2 Speedster - 4.0L 520 hp engine with manual available, 1948 units; the 911 R of the 991.2 generation
991.2 GT2 RS 4.0 - Rumored, perhaps forthcoming; may have something to do with the camouflaged car seen testing at Monza during the factory race car test recently

I thought the camoed car was a GT2 RS cup car?

I've seen some internal spreadsheet references to a GT2 RS 4.0
Such a car would have a nice symmetry with the swansong from the GT3 RS 4.0 (from the 997 generation)
That said, would they have time or inclination to build a GT2 RS 4.0 street car AND a gentleman driver track toy GT2 RS? I don't know, and I'm not personally interested in a turbocharged engine with a low redline.
