Default ADM 992.1 vs 992.2

I’m curious if the price increase for the 992.2 will offset the ADM’s paid for the 992.1. Anybody care to share
any helpful data? I received a 992.2 for no ADM in the Midwest. Not sure about .1 here but my suspicion is there were ADM’s previously. Did Porsche just increase the msrp at the expense of ADM’s for dealers so the delta isn’t as big as it seems? ADM is completely ignored by most reviews for many makes and models and seems to be misleading when they talk about price increase or when comparing to Ferrari or ZR1 etc.

Yes adm for 992.1 but not always. Also COVID made all the YOLO/FOMO in people come out which drove a hot used market. Since 2021-2022 porsche has raised MSRP a lot so basically what was a $250k car in 2022 is now a $300k plus car in 2026. Bottom line is these cars are more expensive than ever

Was your Turbo S at MSRP? Oh, never mind; you don’t even own one!

I would not pay ADM on one based on what you see happening with then 992.2 GTS.

Reach out to dealers in the Ohio market such as Porsche North Olmstead. They sell out of state to everyone, many members on here get their 911 from them.

I JUST backed out of a 992.2 TTS w/ $15K ADM, my last config came to $307 + the $15k ADM. Bought a 22' 992.1 at MSRP $207,000, $242,840 as spec'd from the same Dealership (Fremont CA). Sold Fremont my 2017 991.2 TTS in exchange for the 992.1 allocation. Backed out of the .2 because of the ADM and various other reasons. Going to start modding the .1. I had Frank at Exclusive Options do quite a bit of interior leather after purchase, which made a significant difference.

Good move, if you're going to mod the 992.1 is def way to go. I'm sure ADMs not going to last on the .2 for long, and if it proves tunable in a year or two you can always swap over for likely little to no loss anyway.

Was living abroad and missed my allocation window at my local Porsche dealer (have a history there). Pivoted to searching dealer inventories online and found one with a build I liked. Called 'em up. No ADM.

If you want a 992.2 now you will pay an ADM. I am not aware of any dealerships not requiring one. If anyone knows factually differently feel free to list them. I agree in a year or so ADM’s should go away. You are paying the price for getting the newest hottest car.

ADM plays more apart of length on wait vs getting one. Just like 992.1, if you’re willing to wait then you will not pay ADM, if you want to “cut in front of line” then you’re paying ADM. Some 992.1 folks did not wait and did not pay ADM… that was rare

Also have to take into the annual price increases.
