Default Xpel (Merging?) question

I received this in my email today. Can anyone explain/clarify/expand on what exactly this means??Hi!

Hope your summer has been going great! You might have already heard, but a lot has been happening here with PFS. We are now part of the growing, global XPEL family! We’ve seen success providing XPEL products for years, and after multiple discussions about our shared vision and commitment to quality and service, an offer was accepted for XPEL to acquire PFS.

What does this mean for you?

We see it as going from great to…greater! Our same great technicians and team will still be creating the same fantastic experience and results to which you’re accustomed here at PFS, but now, all that is enhanced. You might soon see “PFS Powered by XPEL” around the shop and in communications. Additionally, we’re adding resources, updating equipment, and further leveraging the global knowledge source of the leader in automotive films and protection.

PFS Powered by XPEL still offers paint protection film, window tint, windshield protection, paint correction, ceramic coating, vinyl wrap, performance modifications and service, wheel repair, caliper painting, and more!

We look forward to seeing you again soon! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Sounds like XPEL purchased PFS, they did something similar here is Scottsdale with the largest installer in Arizona.

This TTS group has been very knowledgeable and helpful in the past. I figured someone in this group might know what this is about. Yeah, it sounds like Xpel is buying out large local installers

Excerpt from XPEL's last 10-Q:

XPEL continues to pursue several key strategic initiatives to drive continued growth. Our global expansion strategy includes establishing a local presence where possible, allowing us to better control the delivery of our products and services. We also add locally based regional sales personnel, leveraging local knowledge and relationships to expand the markets in which we operate.
