Got a call yesterday for a Turbo S Coupe allocation, more details this morning. If they will do the build at MSRP, I will be joining the club.

What if they make you buy a Porsche watch? Is that small enough of an ADM?

No talk of a watch, I’m in at MSRP out with an ADM. Made it clear in a brief discussion yesterday afternoon, will know for sure by midday.

Hold your ground!

Last time I talked to a salesman at the major dealership near me (Porsche Main Line outside of Philadelphia), he was telling me A.) I'd have to do at least ~$50k ADM and B.) buy a Porsche watch and wait ~2 years... Sigh.

Well P of North Scottsdale thinks the Turbo S still commands and ADM of 80K, However I’m dealing with the “smaller” town dealership in AZ and they are at MSRP for locals. I’m just outside what they consider “local” so thats the hang up.

No. LWBs seem like that polar opposite of what my body would enjoy. And I personally dislike the look, so that’s a hard no for me 😃. I realize that is a polarizing stance, but also speaks to the fact that everyone loving their own style of Porsche.

@Dicecal congrats! I can’t wait to see pics of your interior! EM black/Cohiba with chalk stitching sounds awesome.

Thanks, looking forward to it as well! Best pic I could find of the Cohiba / Chalk was on a GT3:

If you're doing EM, you should get Cognac interior. It's so elegant.

Looked at it but little on the light side for me. Only thing I’m going over now is the stitch color: light grey like chalk or dark like slate grey

It always seems to depend for me. A $250 stereo is just fine in my 81 CJ. I spend a portion of my time in the music industry. I’d ask if your ears can tell the difference between regular format and lossless formats? If yes, spend the extra money. If no, stick with Bose (still not a bad choice).

Thanks for the feedback. I am opting to go with the Burmester stereo system simply because I have never experienced it on previous or current Porsches. Hopefully, in the 911 cabin the Burmester stereo system provides decent sound quality. BTW, my order locks on the 28th of May………the time for option agony will soon be over.
