Default Updated Fuel Economy Information Regarding Your Porsche 911

Has anyone received this email from Porsche.
Updated Fuel Economy Information Regarding Your Porsche 2024 911 Turbo S – WP0AD2A90RS252141

The purpose of this email is to advise you of updated information related to the fuel economy of your 911 Turbo S.

What is the issue?

A clerical error was made in reporting the rated fuel economy of your vehicle. Porsche is updating the rated fuel economy for your 911 Turbo S.

What is the impact?

The adjustment in the fuel economy figures reflects a decrease of 1 MPG in the city value stated on the Monroney label accompanying your vehicle.

What is Porsche doing?

In recognition of any inconveniences associated with this change, Porsche offers you your choice of $1,000 in cash or the attached $1250 parts and service voucher valid for redemption at any authorized Porsche Center. The attached voucher may be exchanged for service, parts, accessories, or Porsche Lifestyle collection.

If you prefer cash compensation, please reach out to us at customersupport@porsche.com with your request, provide a copy of proof of ownership (e.g., registration, title, image of sales contract) or call 1-800-PORSCHE. Please mention this notification and we will void the attached service voucher and issue you a check instead. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for check processing.

We thank you for your patience, loyalty, and understanding.

Sincerely,

Glenn Garde

I saw this in the GT forum.. Didn't know it was the Turbo too, what is the wrong spec and what is correct?

Wouldn't every single owner be entitled to this or is it only 2024?

EDIT, looks like its for the 2024s.

My 2022 shows the same exact fuel economy numbers but says I'll spend $6500 MORE in fuel costs vs the average new vehicle

I have a 2024 Turbo S and have not gotten an email or letter that I’m aware of.
