My 2024. A very fun weekend car for me. Bordeaux red seats with guards red stitching throughout.

I was fortunate to purchase them when the Canadian AF surplussed them - slowly getting them flying. Some fly on contract with the military, some I fly for fun. The hanger is my FBO - Circle Air Group in San Diego, CA where I also run a FAA part 145 repair station.

That's awesome.. I should do my F-5 type rating one day. If you happen to know Gomex, I've flown with him at formation events, and I flew at the Star Wars Canyon event last year where he or Wingnut (I can't remember which) led a formation 7-ship in an F-5.

Awesome - yes, know Gomex well - his outfit at Mojave leases several of my F-5s to do civilian work - they also do type ratings so call him if you are interested. I do some instruction with him from time to time as well. Yeah, SW canyon is a blast - I use to do it when I was stationed at George AFB in the mighty F-4 . . . they just did a run a few weeks back - my bud "BB" flying one of my F-5s "Monique" . . . .

Small world, I hope to run into you one day! I'll leave you with a video made from last year's run.. I'm Neo in the video, but the video was made by a pilot friend who works in Hollywood and he did a really good job on it. My back seater in the video, "Warman", also flew F-4's.

. . . different experience for sure - 560 Knots (~650MPH) below 100' tightens up your sphincter muscle, but nothing else on earth compares to the rush of a twin-afterburning fighter jet. . . .
