Default TYD delay

I know TYD isn't always the most accurate... but how accurate are their manufacturing dates? If the website says production starts on 1/31, do they usually hit that date but not update TYD to reflect it?

It's 4 Feb, but I'm still showing in phase 3.

Patience is not a virtue I was blessed with.... especially after a two year wait! ;-)

Target dates are subject to change and even Porsche have a disclaimer for that but once you get the update car is in production it is usually accurate. I know my car start of production was pushed back couples of weeks but once it started I remember the phases took forever to update. I recall also seeing a vin in TYD don’t remember which phase. Sometimes it is not unusual for the update to take a long time. Be patient.

Cool thanks… I did get a VIN a couple of weeks ago, which is promising.

In the car-making world, a bunch of stuff can mess with our timelines, like supply chain issues or super thorough quality checks. Sometimes, they start making the cars on time, while TYD takes a bit longer to sync up.

Just had a pop up notification on my phone that I’ve moved into production!
