It did not beat the GT3RS though. While it matched the GT3RS’ time, the GTRS stopped in 514ft, beating the ‘stang by a whopping 55ft. What I find impressive is that it beat the mid-engine Z06 on PSC2R.

in my limited time in the 992 RS @ leipzig factory delivery the braking is unreal - and that's even with my experience in a 997 & 991 cupcar on slicks - once you're above 80 mph any braking activity in the RS is augmented by some serious aero-braking from the massive wing…when I was in the car @leipzig and got on the brakes it was almost like my passenger had thrown a farm plow instrument out hte window to help us slow down…

the RS's time is is elongated due to it's "limited horsepower" and time it takes to get to 150 mph - but once you "deploy the plow" it's best to keep your visor down on your helmet to keep you eyeballs close by…after they a sucked out of your head.

I can't even imagine the RS with full slicks.

My $.02 (and consider how much you’re paying for it)… there’s evidence here that a properly setup TTS would best nearly ALL road cars for track use. Best dual purpose car money can buy?

1. Which of the eCars can get past lap 3 (even if they could beat the TTS in the first few laps)?
2. gimme some tires. Lightweight package. Tuning and exhaust/intercooler mods. A little extra camber? Maybe some meth (let’s run all competition on same gas tho)
3. Ahem. Party on.

I always love it when someone makes a definitive statement about what mankind “cannot do.” E.g. C&D statement about the “last ICE that may ever win this contest.” People who are ignorant of history are condemned to repeat it. Game on! Have these guys seen what Porsche R&D has up its sleeve wrt ICE and fuel research?

Merry Christmas All!

Meaningless piece, all down to tires. Put the turbo S on Cup 2R and see what it does.

@GT3ZZZ - agree 100%. Also - Lingenfelter was mod'd. Why not allow all entries to be mod'd for this test? Since this IS rennlist (and this IS the 992 Turbo/S forum)... I'm gonna rah! rah! rah! the 992 TTS by doubling down... 992 TTS is best Gentleman's/Lady's Sports Car (dual purpose daily/track) money can buy. THANK YOU Porsche!

Happy New Year!
