Default Another wheel question.

I was thinking about getting another set of wheels. They would be slightly different than stock size. I’m wondering how the car would handle and ride and if they would even fit.

Can anybody give me some advice please?

Front wheels size 10.5x21 Rear wheels size 13.5 x21 Brand new tires Michelin pilot sport 4s Front tire size 255/30/zr21 Rear tire size 325/25/zr21

Thanks.

For 4s 325's I would not go wider than 12 1/2, if you want to go 13 or more you really need to use Cup contavt 240 tires in 325 size, they are wider than the 4s 325 tires. Personally I found that the 4s tires in 325 size like 12 1/2 wide wheels the best ride and handling, I have had 4s 325's on 11, 11 1/2, 12, 12 1/2 and 13's and the 4's on 13's just did not look right, and was told by hre to use cup tires on the 13's, the fit was much better. All my cars were 20/21 set ups with 265/35/20 and 325/30/21 (20 x 9 1/2, 21 x 12 1/2)

Ok. Thanks so much. I am looking for a second set of wheels for all season tires for the winter here in the NE. I really want just stock wheels but hard to find them unless I want to pay 4 to 5 K. A set went on pcar market during the summer for like $1500. I will have to wait.

Keep looking and checking ebay and companies that sell oem wheels, several times this year I have found them at shops that customers have purchased new wheels and they just do not to take the stock wheels, and you can get them cheap

So I am looking at oz wheels 12.5x21 et 51 rear. 9.5x20 et 48 front

i currently have 12x 21 et 70 rear and 9.5x20 et 44 front.

I called Tire Rack and they said that the rears will stick out about an inch beyond where it is now. Unfortunately I can’t go out and look because my car is getting Paint Protection Film applied. So I don’t even have it to look.

My gut is that an inch shouldn’t be that much of a problem. We’re talking about aesthetics not handling anyway.

thanks for your help

Unless you run zero camber in the rear that will likely rub the tire and or damage your fender on bumps. Its too aggressive. ET61 is about the max in the rear

That’s a bummer. I was hoping they would be ok.

what about 991 center lock wheels from a turbo S?

I would be going with 315 – 30–20 on the rears. Is your car lowered? It looks very low. It also looks like there is plenty of room on the three-quarter shot for the tires to come out of it if I did go with the ones I am looking at.

by the way, your car looks fantastic. I love that color and wheel combination.
