Seems to me the essential point of disagreement in this thread is about how the impact of high levels of customization (e.g. two tone seats) will be perceived across the broad spectrum of current and future consumers. I will guess the consensus view is that less customization (meaning, more boring?) will offend less buyers than high customization. The flip side to that is we have all seen how PTS cars can command higher premiums on the market, but not necessarily every and any PTS color will have that impact. Maybe that's why the majority of Pcars are ordered black, white and silver?
My $0.02 on OP's selections - I like it. I like Bordeaux Red, so I like those seats, belts and stitching a lot. If I was in the market for a 992 TTS and I found the OP's car on the market, I would pay a premium to get OP's car over one with all black seats. But I'm one random guy on the internet. I will guess that all black seats will appeal more broadly to more people and OP would have found himself with more potential buyers as a result.
