I guess I only through that number out there because about north of 5 people offered to buy my car before I was able to pick it up and they all offered well north of 300K. It doesn’t matter because I’m not selling it. I don’t know why the other guy is being a tool though. I think something happened to him as a kid. Easier to just block him. If I want a bunch of negativity in my life, I’ll call my mother-in-law.

@Patton250 My interior is the same as yours. Exterior is chalk. I agree with you that the Bordeaux adds some pop to the interior. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Very cool I love it. Welcome. However, we won’t really know how accepted your interior is until RCorsa chimes in. After all, he’s the arbiter of what is a proper TTS interior.

That is the beauty of these cars…the more individual they are to the owner…the more precious they become to them. I can’t imagine what the resale market will be on a used Taycan in Mexico Blue - but he loves it and that’s awesome.

I love the interior - I am doing that on a 2024 Cayenne I have on order - because I like 2 tone. So as long as you are happy that's all that counts. And congrats on the ride - enjoy!
but listen you asked for feedback. So unless you asked for only positive feedback - then someone may not like it. I wouldn't get bothered by it.

Hell I'm not even a fan of red anywhere but that 2-tone looks great to me, better than the std black/bordeaux setup. I like the seat inserts better with the extended end panels and extended leather. Good call !

You’ll see. Bookmark this and Repost with your sale once the day comes. Black with red inserts is not a good look and will sell poorly. I’ve spec’d multiple 911 turbo S coupes and cabs in the last 10 years including the 992. Obviously it’s your car so get what you like but you’re fooling yourself to think that two tone interior will get a nice premium. Oh and 300k for a new coupe in that spec. lol. ZERO chance of that unless you are talking Canadian dollars…lol. Now I know you are delusional!
1. No Turbo S is selling for north of 300k - zero, none, never. We’d pay you $215k on trade (maybe.) Absurd resale prices on cars are over. This has nothing to do with your build, but cars depreciate - that’s life.
2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your spec and the seats will do absolutely nothing to materially degrade the value. We dealers don’t care about the leather selection unless its orange, purple, and green simultaneously. We buy and sell by factoring in a multitude of high risk scenarios. Your spec would have plenty of willing buyers.
now get out there and enjoy it 🙌 who cares what these internet opinions are

Order was placed May 1 and I took delivery September 7. So far the only mods I’ve done are PPF and Ceramic coating. I cannot believe how wonderfully comfortable this car is. My first one was black because I didn’t get to order it. I bought it off the lot. I like black but it’s not for me. I finally got an allocation at MSRP so I ordered this one. My favorite colors for these type of cars are white, gray and silver. After doing much research and visiting many dealerships, I decided on GT silver metallic. Then it painstakingly took me weeks to decide on the interior. The stitching is guards red and the seats are black and Bordeaux red. The seatbelts are Bordeaux red also. I am not going to tune this one like I did the black one because I plan on keeping it for a while and I don’t want to mess up the warranty. I do you think I’m going to add a dash camera and possibly some laser jammers and radar detectors like i did on the black TTS. For now I’m just going to drive it every second I have a chance. It’s not a daily, but I will use it all weekend every weekend. Let me know what you guys think of my color choices.

from your very first post you said “let me know what you guys think of my color choices”
to which I responded “Your exterior spec looks great, very classic with a touch of carbon flair. Interior does not look good imo and would have been far better with all black and stitching accents for color. Also the red is out of place with the yellow calipers.”
I 100% agree with the dealer that for 215k your color combo will sell quickly but if you want a premium on the private market your interior colors will do the opposite. It’s the same reason you said it took you “weeks” to figure out your interior choices is because they are non traditional. Thus while I’m happy you like the result, non. Traditional cars sell either (a) much slower and or (b) for less money.
Just accept it, enjoy your “forever car” and stop worrying about me.
