What did you trade your car for and how much are you paying for new car? Give proper context. Dealers are not in the charity business.
Plenty of used cars at or near msrp and still unsold.

991.2 GT3RS . I feel it was priced fair in this market and I followed the market for a while
I had one before and wanted another one

Saying the 991.2 3RS was priced fair and what the dealer picked it up for are entirely different things
Yes you may be getting more than msrp for your trade but dealer makes that up in the sale of the 3RS easily. As i said, they are not in the charity business.
If your car was an outright sale, then i will agree the market is still strong.

It really was the worst spec I’ve ever seen. Looks like a banana. Yellow on the outside. Tan on the inside.

If the stickers were blue, it would've been full Chiquita spec.

Literally, lol. My goodness. Seen worse though. Bet the dealer made them put 50% down before submitting the spec.

the car ended at 2k under original sticker if you include the 5k buyers fee.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...s-cabriolet-7/

No banana

The window sticker on this car on BAT says 252k but that doesnt include gas guzzler tax. Add the 7% sales tax and the seller took almost a $40k loss.

Trade in values on Turbo S right now are 10% below MSRP for like new cars with a few hundred miles. Actual figures from GSMs I know of.

not sure why you are bringing all the negative aspects of this sale
this car is a 2021 which is 3 years old , have 8 k miles .Sold for 232 K which is 20 below MSRP
So I would say market is still strong
also 7 % sales tax does not count as most people can recoup that through trade in tax credit if they chose to

What about the time value of money invested by original owner in picking up car from dealership? What negative amount can you put on the time that he lost obviously not enjoying the car for 8000+ miles?
