Default M-Engineering: PSE Valve Mod for 992 / 982

Hello RL,

We recently were able to get some video and real world examples of our PSE Valve Mod in-action. This mod is available for any PSE equipped 992 Carrera, Turbo, or 982 4.0L.

For those not familiar, the factory PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust), when activated via the exhaust valve button on the dash, or by putting your car into "Sport" or "Sport+", still only opens up your exhaust valves only part of the way, and the amount it is opened depends on a number of factors such as RPM and load. With M-Tuner, and the PSE valve mod activated, we are able to force the valves open 100% of the way. This gives you a louder exhaust and more power, without having to do any hardparts modifications. There is no additional charge for the PSE valve mod with the purchase of M-Tuner. This is our most popular modification available!

Oh yes, and if you have a PSE equipped car and have M-Tuner and want to add this mod, shoot over an email to info@m-engineering.us and we can happily update it at no cost.

I am happy I went with the Soul race exhaust and don't have these valves anymore. The exhaust sounds awesome without them.

Honestly now that my car has been reprogrammed back to stock, it has lost so much of the zest and character that the M Tuner gave it - full PSE control being one of the most missed features. Car is rather boring by comparison

Better power at high RPM with valve function retained? So better to keep valves for the track?

Valves 100% OPEN via M-Engineering PSE Mod: More Power, More Sound
Valves stock: Less power, less sound.
Valves totally deleted: Priceless

Has anyone else noticed that sport mode the exhaust tone is louder than sport plus?

I don’t even have the valves they are deleted. It must be something with the cam shaft or overlap that changes?
