With my stock PDK I have noticed some weird shifts - half shifts, hesitant shifts, jerky shifts at times. Its as if the PDK is trying to anticipate what to do based upon throttle input but sometimes guesses wrong

Do you mind explaining the issue with getting it to relearn?

You'd rather do a 720 than a 765? If you're trying to build or have a bruiser of a car, I'd rather have a 765.

It just failed on the relearn process. Couldn't do anything until I took it to the Porsche dealer (Chandler AZ) who was able to push it through the process after 3 attempts. I'd recommend that if anyone does this they do it at a shop that has the latest generation PIWIS with the latest software, as your car may be down for some period of time.

As for why not a 765, I'm not going to spend 100-150k over sticker for a spider. I've seen the coupes calm down to 20-50k over sticker, and decided to be impatient and grab one of the last 720s's ever produced. When the right 765 comes along, I'll likely make the jump and now I have the option to get the next LT allocation whatever that may be.

I'm not too excited about the 750s' looks, so likely will skip it.

Next porsche other than the 2RS will likely be a cayenne turbo GT. I think they're a lot more classy than the Urus, but everyone and their dog is trying to push me to the urus... Haven't driven a Turbo GT yet, but it's on the agenda.

I just happened to see a Cayenne Turbo GT right next to an Urus yesterday in the mall parking lot. The GT I almost mistook initially for a Macan due to its altered sloping roofline compared to a standard Cayenne.

The Cayenne is stealth - 99% of people will think of it as just another vanilla Cayenne. The Urus is much louder, but if you get it in a conservative color - black, white, silver - I think it could blend in well.

It has made a noticeable difference from my experience...faster and better matched downshifts and quicker response in M mode.

Gonna have the dragy going this weekend as the weather is now ideal.

As a Cayenne lover (have owned 5) this was the reason I bought an RSQ8. I felt it looked way more special than a Cayenne Turbo/GTS but less flashy than a Urus and for 145k incl carbon ceramic brakes I thought represented a great value by comparison to all.

It's harder for me to get a RSQ8 allocation than it is a turbo GT. I would order a RSQ8 if I could.

No 1/4 mile stuff yet. 5.3 100-200 kph pull so far.

Off the track tomorrow for proper test.

I should have pulled the TCU out while the car was getting wrapped this week.. Damnit. ah well. Not sure if that would fly, they might need to move it around..

Not much info on mods on this site, is there not many guys that mod these guys or is everyone trying to be IG famous maybe?

Pad, how did you do at the track? I had 28psi in all four tires and it seemed to hook good. Had to really hold on tight and keep it in the grove though, she wanted to go left and right a bit.

Cheers
