Any Ice Grey’s on the line
#17
Hi all,
I have about 2 weeks until my Targa GTS freeze date - would love to see some more examples of Ice Grey 992’s if there are more out there as I’m really torn on color! Thanks in advance!

Chalk--perhaps lighter than Arctic Grey but very dependent upon the lighting
The AG may have more blue in the paint.
Both options look fantastic on this car--any color looks fantastic on this car.

A work colleague has a Taycan Turbo in Ice and my Panny Turbo is Chalk and we park next to each other. I'll try to get some side by side pictures next week.
Ice is a much brighter color than Chalk, like put on sunglasses bright. It seems like people gravitate towards - Chalk, Graphite grey and Arctic or go the other way. I consider the previous three to be slightly more 'muted' colors. I had someone at a gas station tell me it looked like my car was primed but not painted, it was not a compliment!
Ice is a beautiful color and often mistaken for white from a distance. There is a lot of metal flake making it a very bright color especially in bright light or sun.
I still love my Chalk on my panny and will be getting either that or Arctic on my 992TT, likely Arctic to have a change. I've always felt like when you see a certain color you know. This is my second Chalk and third Graphite Grey car because the second I saw it I just knew, same for Arctic.
I don't think anyone would regret Ice, its another beautiful Porsche color. As always with a big purchase view it in as many light conditions as possible.

TL;DR – If you've been keeping up with the discussions about Ice Grey Metallic, you know it's an incredible color, but matching it with the right interior colors can be tricky. My build locks in two weeks, and I could really use your advice!
Initially, I planned on incorporating yellow Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), yellow deviated stitching, and yellow seat belts as shown HERE. I've always been a fan of yellow highlights, and ideally, I'd choose Shark Blue, Dolomite Silver, or Carrera White Metallic. Since GT Silver and basic white aren't options for me, I've settled on Ice Grey Metallic (IGM).
Many seem to think that IGM has a red/blue undertone, which narrows down the compatible interior colors. I'd appreciate your input on the following options:
1) Current build:
- Ice Grey Metallic
- Yellow PCCB
- Yellow seat belts
- Yellow deviated stitching
2) Considering:
- Ice Grey Metallic
- Black PCCB
- Shark Blue seat belts
- Speed Blue deviated stitching
**I'm reluctant to completely abandon the yellow accents.
3) Any other suggestions?
Thanks a lot for your help!
