Default Heritage interior no longer available

Just found out from SA that Heritage interior is no longer available. I was the luckiest guy in the country for about 12 hours……. I moved up the list bc others were waiting for PTS / Sport design pkg. I’m so frustrated, but maybe this wasn’t meant to be.

I assume that if that interior is not available to my dealer it’s not available to any other dealers?

There is stop sales on all kinds of stuff, frustrating times. Wait two years and can't even build the car you want. Some of us got lucky, others not....

Maybe do some nice deviated stitching color, with matching tach, clock, etc.

If its not available to you, its the same world wide. There was a user that had a list from head quarters, but it will be out dated now.

I’ve been lusting after the heritage pkg.I have most the funds set aside for a TTS, but by no means a rich man. I think if I settled for an interior that I didn’t love, I wouldn’t be happy. I have seen some beautiful interiors with deviated stitching though.

Is this applicable for all four heritage design interiors currently available in the configurator?

My SA confirmed that both black and cohiba classic heritage interiors are not available. The pure heritage interiors didn’t come up in conversation.

It must have been very recent because my build locked on 2/14 with the cohiba flavor. Production starts in a week. You SA should have a spreadsheet of all the unavailable or delayed options across all trims. Mine printed a copy and gave it to me to use as a tool when making my build so he didn't need to disappoint when I sent in my code. I would make sure he is interpreting the information correctly or it just may be that it would add X months to the build but is not necessarily a stop sale.

2023 builds will be so basic. Is so frustrating. I had to drop the Sport Design Package.

Yes and this could be the last year of the 992.1 as well.

Help me to understand... why is corduroy appealing in a $200K+ Porsche 911? Just curious. Seems like it would get yucky over time in hot summer months, sweaty clothing, etc. All leather just seems so much easier to maintain, keep clean, and would look great over many years.

There are 2 heritage design packages. There is Classic which you posted and Pure which has Corduroy.
Nothing wrong with Corduroy but it's not for everyone and it's a rarely chosen option.

I was fortunate to get my black Turbo S this week with Classic Cognac interior. This interior is AMAZING, praised by everyone. Here's a night shot I took on delivery date.

If everyone liked the same interior and options, the cars would look exactly the same essentially a KIA, Honda, etc. Leather is easier to maintain yes but perhaps the owner does not value easier maintenance than say the way the interior looks. I personally don't have the patience or time to spend hours for daily upkeep so i have standard black interior. I have a friend that details his cars almost every weekend all year so much so he has a detailing business now on the side and employs dozens of people. He has been this way since I've know him for 30 years. His cars are always black, silverstone or cream interiors, spotless and no one else can detail his cars just him. I send my cars to him and give him good business

Options/style is subjective, and the level of customization is on another level esp when you start doing Porsche CXX, etc.
Usually, the downside to a heavily customized car is that it's hard to sell but as we have seen on BAT, a car with Heritage Pure with Orange wheels sold for 100+ over MSRP just recently.
