Lightbulb Need Help Exhaust Mod 992 Turbo S

Dear readers and owners,

Im curious for modifying my 992 Turbo S exhaust. However when speaking to my local PC they tell me that a exhaust mod requires tuning the car, which is something im not looking to do currently. Is there any simple exhaust modification that wouldnt require tuning the car, something simple like a resonator delete only?

Im curious to hear from you guys!

I have exhaust + 100 cell cats and no tune. Tune is not required for exhaust. Do your research what you want since there are so many options, you have Akrapovic, Europipe, Kline, Soul, Fabspeed, etc.
None of the exhaust I mentioned require a tune

I began with replacing my OEM cats with Fabspeed 200 cell cats, no tune. A nice upgrade. I'll be doing the entire exhaust at some point, from headers to tips.

Improved overall tone and burble on deceleration. Probably a bit better seat of the pants feel, but can't claim that with data. No error codes.

We are a Soul dealer, we can ask if it'll work on EU cars. (EU cars are more sensitive to air flow though which will trigger CEL)

You don’t need a tune, the car will adapt to the new exhaust and modify itself to run optimally. If you remove the cats, there will be a CEL regarding the cats.

I read a post from GrG I believe, they did a catless race exhaust and gained 50ftlbs and 25hp at the wheels without tuning.

Any 992 EU exhaust pictures with the particulate filter on the exhaust ? That has to be a tight nightmare fitment.

You can buy the center piece without issue, JCR and Kline have one at least.
Been looking for a setup that retains the OPF since I'm in europe, europipes is deleting the OPF if I understand i correctly but simulates the back pressure somehow I'm sure they can chime in abt it.
If in a US car now need to worry about OPF just CEL with cats.

A center piece replacement on an EU OPF exhaust won’t change the sound that much. The OEM cats and the soot filters are restrictive while the PSE muffler is just 2 x 180° bends on the inside.

We have several 992 Turbo S customers in The Netherlands. Unlike the 2021-2023 US models there have never been any CEL exhaust issues on the 2021-2023 EU model 992 Turbos.
No tune or other modifications needed.

What CEL issues are you seeing on the US models ?
