I can't remember back pre pandemic what a 2-3 year old Turbo S would go for (Assuming your avg options)?

Going through my old emails, 2017 Turbo S with about 2,000 miles could be had for $158k-$163k back in July of 2019.

While this one is a Turbo, it sat for quite a while at this dealership. You can see all the options listed, MSRP of $210k, and it was listed at $163k or $169k, sat for months through Covid summer of 2020, and finally sold in fall of 2020.

911 Turbo's used to take a HUGE depreciation hit in the initial 1-5 years, up until about 2.5 years ago... Not so much these days!

I paid 170 for a 212 MSRP 2018 turbo S in an October 2019 with 2000 miles and certified. I then traded the car back to the dealer in late 2020 for 175 on a new 992 turbo S cab with an MSRP of 240 delivered in February 2021 with a 2k discount. I then sold that car in June 2022 with 3500 miles for 290.
I think prices have come back a little as I saw my old 992 advertised for 315 but then dropped to 285 around November and then vanished(sold I assume)

IT was next to impossible prior to covid pre 2020 to sell TT/TTS for anything over msrp. You usually took a loss at trade-in 1-5 years and after that things sort of stabilized and gradually went down.
I recall a 2017 TTS back in 2019 was going for 150k-160k and this was a 190k msrp so 30-40k loss in 2 years. In fact, dealers gave discounts back then for new cars.

There was a 2017 Turbo S at Kings Porsche in Cincinnati that I inquired about with about 1,600 miles on the odometer back in July 2019.
The emails went from $174k to $168k to $163k in three emails back and forth in two days.

Thanks for the detailed information. Truly appreciate this forum and its members. Crazy how pandemic has created a new normal for me on so many things so knowing some of these facts helps balance the new normal.
Thanks again all!

Wonder if these cars will trade at higher numbers for a few years. Interesting times.
Once they get some higher mile units, price will have to come down. Seems not many guys drive their cars though.
