Default No LW pkg Bucket Seats

Just got the call, no LW package bucket seats available for the TTS. Could only go forward with inputting the build with LW package with 18ways, damnit!

Pretty disappointed, was really looking forward to those seats and less weight.

You can only get the lightweight package with the heaviest possible seats? Makes total sense.

Most of the weight savings and expense are in the bucket seats.

I know, I am choked and disappointed. I love the look of the seats, the CF back with the rest of the carbon I have spec'd.

Sounds like they're saving the LWB for the GT cars. Similar situation going on with carbon brakes, which are being saved for cars that have them stock.

No way they’re making Turbo S without PCCBs.

LWBs are being reserved for the RS cars and GT3, but PCCBs are being reserved for TTS I’d imagine.

PCCB, PDLS+, LWBS are all stop-sale for GTs besides RS right now. PTS is stop sale for all MY23 models. Tons of posts about it in the 992 GT3 section.

At least they’re still able to make your wallet lighter.

Not surprising. But they will not build TTS without PCCBs. I can’t see it happening.

Years ago I had 991.1 TTS and swap out 18 ways for LWB s 997 GT 3 RS seats and roll cage . Worked great .

Just to confirm what devsecflops said... no more PTS cars being manufactured for 2023 in any model. Guess that would make existing PTS cars worth a little more I suppose..
