Default 1/4 Mile Time Discrepancy

In anticipation of my incoming TTS with LWP, I have been killing time watching every Turbo S video and reading every Turbo S article out there. I can't help but notice a really large range for 1/4 mile times and trap speeds. I see numbers as high as 10.8 @ 126 mph as well as 9.9@139. I understand there is some correction involved in some of the magazine numbers but this variation is quite a bit high. Has anyone here gone to a drag strip and can post a slip OR has draggy/vbox numbers of a stock car, with stock tires, and pump gas?

Not exactly what you need, but go to CarWow on YouTube and search 992 Turbo S. They have made a ton of passes over different days and races.

Typically 10.2

Rough ranges 10.1 to 10.4

I have never seen a 9.9 on Dragy or Strip bone stock.

I was just thinking of posting this myself and wondering the same.

I will be into drag racing with the new TTS. Downpipes/tune for sure, maybe upgraded turbos.

I don't see a lot of mod posts on here or even 1/4 info etc. Would be curious on some real info from members. Once I have my car, I will post all stock and modified results in a thread/journal.

You should consider meth for any serious upgrades to the car. ES Motors with all the mods plus meth are doing 9.4x 1/4 and 150+ mph. I doubt those numbers are possible without meth

I can add one data point. Totally stock as delivered on a typical crowned somewhat bumpy rural road. Just past 1800 mile break-in. OEM Goodyear tires. Probably could do better with Cup 2 tires and a prepped surface. Slight up slope at the end probably didn’t help.

With a 1.59 sixty hooking well on the street, you just posted a real world Data Point. That falls right in the middle of all of the CarWow videos. 0FT DA would put you at their low number . Well done !

9.4 with upgraded turbos is pretty damn good.

That’s TTS has LW package too.

R8 will kill all on roll races, they are beasts and big HP.

The TTS moves out hard from a dig, Jesus!

Stock wise and not an R8, but I have done a couple of pulls from 50mph against a 2022 huracan conv and I was pulling on him and ahead by 2 car lengths when we decided to call it quits (around 110)

Sorry, I meant a TT R8 or Huracan, they are wild with boost.
