CTEK Charger over heating?
My TTS has been hooked up to the CTEK charger for a couple of weeks. (It's hard wired to the battery) As far as I could remember, it had green lights - ie, fully charged. (I think??) After a long drive earlier today, I hooked up the CTEK charger immediately upon my return. I just checked it (about two hours later) and the lights on the charger are still orange, but more concerning, the charger was extremely hot. Almost too hot to touch. Especially the bottom part. Is this normal? See pic below of what my charger looks like after being hooked up for two hours.

Yep, in bulk (constant amp declining voltage) it gets pretty warm. I find my CTEK charges pretty hard even after a drive. Never understood why our alternators aren’t fully charging our batteries yet the CTEK seems to. By now you should be in your next stage

What lithium battery do you have?

TTS come with LifePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries only -- not a Lithium-Ion battery

Recommend you do a quick review of the CTEK manual. Those 2 orange lights indicate the charger is in "bulk charging mode" meaning it's working at max capacity to charge the battery as fast as possible. As the battery comes closer to full, the charger will back off output until it's just a trickle.
