It does add some downforce with little or no drag penalty, so you can say its function. But most get it for looks, me included. I dislike how the integrated wing looks in the non-aero version.

I like the look better but I also got it for function. Being used to the downforce in the 3RS, I was concerned about more speed with less downforce on track. The front creates a curtain that helps extract air from the front wheels similar to that incorporated inside the bumper of GT4 and wife’s Spyder. Except in the TurboS it is an an add on winglet. Different design, same result. I trusted Porsche engineers would balance that in the rear. I can say heavy braking into Sebring turn 17 from 161mph is very stable. My RS rear would dance braking from 151 if the rear wing wasn’t at full attack. So something good is happening back there.

I was going to spec my incoming TTS with the Sport Package because I really like the platinum silver turbo S wheels, my favorite of all wheels. But I actually like the cleaner look of the standard Turbo- clean simple front end and the regular rear spoiler. I even prefer the simple Ducktail and lack of side vents on the Sport Classic but I’m not a VIP 😢.

Look for sure. I had a car with it next to mine that was without and looked more aggressive than mine . Wished they offered the option to also go gloss black on all the aero bits in front
