Default It's finally here!

After about 12 months of waiting for an allocation and build, my 992 TTS finally arrived this week. Some high level specs - Carmine Red exterior with aerokit in gloss black, lightweight package, carbon seats, and black leather with guards red stitching. Extremely happy with the car despite just driving it back from the dealership. Much better driving experience than the 991.2 Turbo that I had previously. My 991.2 had a few bolt ons - kline exhaust, intercoolers, y pipe, plenum, tune, etc, so I'm excited to get some more miles on this before I do some mods.

PPF and tint appointment scheduled shortly so I can get some more seat time!

my god man - what a sucky build - just give me the location of the dealership and I'll take that off your hands for you - no need to even drive it - I wouldn't want the trauma or PTSD that would be caused by you having to even sit in that terrible no good build of a POS…just so so so bad.

Don't think I have seen a TTS with bucket seats, color combo and car looks great! Congrats on the car!

Angry....Do not know if your question was directed to me or the OP, but since I have the LWP with carbon buckets like him I figured I will add my thoughts. I find them comfortable and not a problem in that regard. The part that takes getting used to is the ingress and egress of the seats and learning the "dance" you need to do for that. I am the only driver of my TTS, so losing the adjustments of the 18 way seats was not a concern where another driver may have difference preferences as to seating. My previous car ( '19 ZR1 / ZTK ) also had comp seats as well, so I do favor them. I found the carbon seats with the LWP (PSAM+less sound deadening+Sport Exhaust) a nice combination. I was buying/ordering my first Porsche and I originally wanted a GT3 but unable to find an allocation for one nor willing to wait 1+years and pay an insane ADM. So I got the TTS in a configuration that would get me close; and the TTS has meet my expectations.

OK, thought I was happy with my 991.2 TT, but hot damn, that is an awesome build!
Your spec has me thinking/contemplating that I’ll eventually cave in and order a new 992.2 TT!
Tks for the encouragement/eye candy, lol!
Enjoy that beauty…
Cheers/B

Seats are surprisingly comfortable. I didn't get to test them out before my car came, but so far they're more comfy than the sport seats in my 991.2. I have Recaro Pole Positions in my E46 M3 and found those to be more comfortable than the stock seats as well.

Two things I really like about them -

1. The vertical adjustment (raise/lower) is electrically adjustable. Just a small detail that I didn't read or see anywhere prior to delivery.
2. I test drove a cab with the standard seats and definitely think that the buckets do a lot for the driving experience. Better connection with the road and the car, in addition to keeping you in place.

Just my 2 cents.

Beautiful car. Enjoy. For what it's worth, I ordered mine with the 18 way seats. (Bad back). My daily is an S-Class, so even the 18 way seats were somewhat of a concern for me. I ended up driving a TTS at the Porsche Experience Center L.A. and after 1.5 hours of seat time, I had no issues with the 18 way seats. So I proceeded with my TTS order. I also ended up doing a full day drive with the Santa Barbara Porsche club - I was in the car most of the day from about 5:00 AM to about 7:30 PM and can report that to my surprise I had zero back paid even after spending so much time in the car. The only down side to the 18 way seats is the fact that they don't hold you as well in the seat during very spirited driving. Changing some of the seat adjustments helps, but it's not perfect or anywhere as good as the LWB seats would be. Its a compromise I was happy (needed) to make.

Finally got it back from PPF and ceramic coating. Time to put some miles on it! I'm planning on doing cat delete and tune but want to get a couple thousand miles on it first.

^^ Please follow up with this thread when you do these mods as I am planning on doing the same, plus upgraded turbos etc. Do some draggy tests stock (after broke in) and after you do mods, please!

Curious to see the gains and your ipressions.

PS, what exhaust and tuner are you using?

Lovely pics! Do you have LW package, Im assuming yes with the seats... Lucky you got the seats, they are stop sale now (

A perfect color for the TTS. With the gloss black, it really highlights the lines and wide hips. I love the exclusive wheels - one of Porsche's best.

Will do! The guys at AIM did full bolt ons minus meth and turbos on my 991.2 and I was very happy with the results. I will most likely end up using them again for their exhaust and tuning this time as well.

Yes to the LW package + the carbon buckets. Seems like I got very lucky!
