Which dealer is getting MSRP for a 2017? Prices are down. GT cars probably but not a TT/TTS and not sure you will get MSRP even for 2019

this is my point. I think the deal seems fair. Buyer shouldn’t think of it as getting 50 under.

I just received my allocation for the T 992 - late this afternoon - very excited. Going with python green exterior and with the leather T green interior package with the gloss black aero package. Around $153,000 msrp/

answered my own question!

I placed a deposit on a TTS allocation just after Thanksgiving and was told to be prepared to wait a year or longer.

Monday evening, my sales guy calls and said "are you sitting down, because I just got your allocation..." Crazy fast!

Build lock in is in April with late June delivery. Can't wait!

Did your dealer ask for something over for your TTS allocation? I know these are in short supply and big demand and they typically have some amount of ADM. THey also hold their value well -- perhaps really built-in lower quantities than the GT3. I personally think it is even a better car to own than the GT3 as it is designed for street and freeway driving. What color exterior and interior? So many to select from of course.

Nope. MSRP

I did Chalk. Just love the color. Interior is Truffle Brown with chalk stitching and belts.

Got my allocation today after 1 week of my deposit. Is a march production slot with delivery in late may/ early june. They offered me a PTS this time but not going that route this time. I thought they were not offering PTS at the moment but maybe they are still offered in latin america.

Finally got my allocation, March build with May delivery. Trying to do Euro delivery, but they said it might not happen... I declined an allocation last spring in lieu of the fall for a Euro Del, but there weren't any allocations since, so I wasn't about to repeat that mess.

Hopefully the build goes smooth and nothing is missing from it.

Cheers

I’ll have some fun here, I got a June/Jul DELIVERY 2023 992 TS allocation, at MSRP, BUT….. I traded it for an April delivery 2023 GT3 allocation at MSRP.

Default Allocation

I’ve been told that I’ve been number one on the list for almost 2 years for a 992TT (non s.)Has anyone gotten an allocation from any dealer for one of these in Pennsylvania In the last two years?, yes I’m trying to figure out if they are just a bunch of liars or not and never to trust Porsche dealers ever.

My opinion is every customer at that dealership is "1st" on a list. They just don't say which list.
Highly unlikely in 2 years they haven't received a TT allocation.

I've been waiting since early Dec '20 with a deposit for a GT3, then a GTS or TTS as alternative. Just polite lip service. As you can see in my list of cars below, I'm not a newbie. The RS had 3300km and my backup to a 992 GT3. The recent TTS purchase from another dealer was, "I'm tired of being passed over".

You and I, have been passed over by better "business opportunities".

I believe these types of greedy Porsche dealers, hope that we will forget what they have done to the customers in the past,. I for one will remember exactly what they have done and will tell everyone on the Internet to avoid certain dealers that have done this, in the long run they will lose way more money because soon it will all go back to the way it was and they will wish that they had been real men and not like a used car dealers in a velvet suit.

I have figured out the 'easy way' I guess that deposits do not matter, its a relationship thing. I have never placed a deposit on a future car, and it boils down to WHO actually knows you at the dealership and if they will go to bat for you. I'm in fairly well with the Sales Manager at Atlanta Porsche, but that has been from a 2 year old cold call I did and then bought my Turbo S from him, and now my 2023 GT3. Waiting lists are not honest, its totally at the dealerships discretion who they contact. I hate to say it, but this is the reason the Porsche USED market is so strong, even pending the recession. I am selling my 2022 Turbo S Cab (in favor of my 2023 GT3), and I have DEALERSHIPS asking to buy my car from me at MSRP. So if you think 'allocation' spots arent GOLD right now, you are sadly mistaken, and with said golden ticket, what makes the dealership pick YOU over the OTHER guy who already bought cars from them?

Point in case, I TRIED to get in line for the GT3 RS, (no deposit required), and the Sales Manager went to bat with the owner as to why I should be given one: (Abbreviated Translation 'Jon's an up and coming customer, has already bought a Turbo S, and he wants to keep buying, he is passionate about the brand, he brought his 2 boys to the dealership and they were ecstatic ... these are the kind of customers we need'.... Dealership owner said ' Great, looking forward to this future together, but lets honor the guys who already created what Jon is attempting to do... give it to our established customers'

Thats it... and I totally got it... cant skip the line... gotta show them with actions not words, that you are there in good and bad times. I'm now a 400-500k customer, but I am well aware, I'm not even in the parking lot until I hit 1 million, if I even want to be considered for '1st in line' GT cars. The Turbo S, is the logical ONE step down from that.
