This is really helpful info, thanks so much for sharing. Do you happen to know what diameter and thread pitch the required bolt is? It'd be nice to have one handy in the glovebox for such an occasion.

After getting under the car to find this, it looks like this area is covered by a plate. Not sure how useful this option is if you have to jack up the car and remove the transmission skid plate just to get it into neutral, but I suppose it's better than nothing. Once I have time and take off the plate, I will share the screw diameter/pitch specs.
